Title: Bruised
Pairing: Draco/Aurelie (OC)
Rating: R
Word Count: 254
Warnings: Incest, references to rape, underage
Author's note: Aurelie Malfoy, one of my few OCs, is a secret from the world. Malfoys don't have girls.
Draco sighed as the tiny girl slid under his covers, whimpering.
'Aura... can't you stay in your own bed?'
Sniffles. She'd been crying. Maybe still was. Draco grabbed his wand and whispered, 'Lumos.' Her face was red and there was a cut on her cheek. As she lifted her arms for a hug, he saw that they and her neck were bruised. So it had been one of those nights. 'Come here, then.'
She was such a small girl, his sister. She seemed more like an eight-year-old than her true thirteen years. Snape said it was probably developmental problems, due to physical abuse in infancy. Snape knew it hadn't stopped there, but who could stand against Draco's father? He had the power.
Now it fell to Draco to take care of this little wisp of a thing, and sometimes it took him to places he'd rather not go.
Aurelie flung her arms around Draco and sobbed against his chest.
'The whole thing, then?' he asked her quietly. She nodded, and turned her head up to quickly kiss his lips. He sighed again. He let her. He'd always let her. He of all people understood that after a night like she'd had, she needed to associate the action with something positive, someone who loved her.
Draco told himself that someday, he would bring to light the things that happen in this house, in the dark. Someday, he'd make her safe. He told himself this, but he didn't really believe it. His father had the power.
