Fic: Surprise Me

I'm late so I don't expect any prize of course, but I made a promise to myself that I would finish this since I started it at the start of the month! So here it is! LOL! Day 1 prompts! :D
I may have to finish the others and post them to my journal too even though this awesome challenge is over! May was just a crazy month for me but I enjoyed watching the comms and brainstorming ideas for the prompts <3

"Why have we never had one of these celebrations before now?" Harry asked.

"It's supposed to be symbolic of a new start," Hermione replied. "Maypoles were once common all over England for wizards and Muggles alike. Really, Harry, weren't you listening when Headmistress McGonagall gave her speech?"

Harry grinned and shrugged at Hermione and then looked back up just as the maypole was erected. Ribbons symbolizing the four house colours were twined around it. The team of maypole dancers took their place.

Red, gold, yellow, black, blue, bronze, green and silver streamers flowed around the metal pole as wizards and witches of all ages danced around the pole in celebration of the end of winter. Harry watched as a plaited pattern of ribbons started to emerge.

Everyone seemed to be getting into the spirit of the season. As warmer weather began and the flowers and trees started to blossom, people seemed happy to celebrate the coming of summer. Harry couldn't help but notice that romance and love were in the air. There seemed to be couples all around them- holding hands and sharing soft kisses.

"This is the tallest maypole since London, 1661. It's over one hundred fifty feet tall," Hermione said. She continued to babble on about Isaac Newton and some reflecting telescope, but Harry had already tuned her out. His eyes had finally found Draco who had just reached out to touch the Maypole ribbons in the house colours of Slytherin.

Harry was still surprised that Draco had agreed to participate in the Maypole dance, but it definitely wasn't the first time that Draco had surprised Harry. He had first been surprised the day that Draco had leaned down in front of him in the loo and took Harry into his mouth, sucking and licking his cock until he spilled his seed down Draco's throat.

And even more surprising was the day that Draco had made Harry admit his feelings for Hermione and then somehow convinced her to join them.

Every time Harry thought that nothing could never surprise him as much as those first moments had, Draco attempted to prove him wrong. Draco took pleasure in proving to them both over and over again that he wasn't the same boy he had been before the war.

Hermione leaned into Harry's side, pulling him out of his thoughts.

"I still can't believe he actually agreed to this," Hermione said with a laugh.

Harry laughed with her as he wrapped an arm around her waist. He pulled her closer and leaned down to press a soft kiss to her lips as they both watched their lover prepare for his dance.
