“It’s raining.”  Harry turned from staring glumly out of the window to glare at Severus, who was still in bed.

“An accurate observation from Professor Potter,” Severus replied.

“And we’re on holiday, away from it all, with no kids we’re responsible for.”

“A second incisive observation.  You’ll be headmaster of Hogwarts in no time!”

“Oh, haha!  We are on holiday and I had plans and it’s raining,” Harry complained.

“This is all very true.”

“And you, you are lying in bed as if it doesn’t matter at all!”

Severus stretched, but gave no indication he had any intention of leaving the bed.

Harry glared at him.

“It may have escaped your notice that being away from it all means there is absolutely no-one to see, comment or disturb us,” Severus said.

“Well, duh, clearly.  But what about my plans?”

“I may have plans of my own.”

“Why didn’t you tell me that?  And what plans?”

“I call them Severus Snape’s Wet Weather Plans, which don’t require either of us to leave this extremely comfortable bed, but will make full use of the fact we cannot be seen or heard, and will not be disturbed, thus allowing us to take our time.”

“Why didn’t you say so before?”
