Challenge: Day 31 Prompt - Bye, bye, bye
It seemed a shame not to write one final response.  Thank you mods, this has been fun.

 

“Bye, thank you for coming!”  Harry waved as Ron and Hermione walked slowly down the path, Ron with his arm solicitously around Hermione; their baby was due in less than a month.

“Bye, thank you for coming!”  Harry waved to Neville and Luna, Neville pushing the pram and crooning softly to the sleeping twins, whilst Luna carried the bag with all the accompanying baby paraphernalia.

“Bye, thank you for coming!”  Harry waved to Snape and McGonagall as they, in turn, walked down the path.  “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!”  Harry laughed as Snape made an obscene hand gesture at him.

“Bye, bye, bye!”  Draco said.  “Now they’ve all gone, and we’ve had a proper housewarming, can we put our new bedroom to the purpose it was created for?  Every time I’ve gone in there today it’s been full of coats, sleeping twins, or sleeping pregnant ladies.”

“Surely you’re not telling me McGonagall’s expecting?”

Draco snorted.  “I didn’t go in when McGonagall was there; I thought it better to leave it to Snape.”

“They were surprisingly quick.”

Draco pulled a face.  “I don’t even want to think about it.”

“But you’re right.  Now that the bedroom’s been redecorated we really should check out the ambiance.”

“I was thinking of checking out our new bed.”

“Well, what are you waiting for?”

Harry ran up the stairs, with Draco in hot pursuit.
